Auction Timing & Format

• Live Auctions: Held daily from 9 AM until the last car is sold.

• Duration per Car: Each auction lasts 10–30 seconds, so buyers must know their maximum bid in advance.

• Auction Sites: Over 100 auto auction sites operate across Japan, including USS, TAA, JU, and CAA.

Bidding & Buyer Rules

• Registration: Buyers must register with an auction agent or platform.

• Deposit: A refundable deposit is often required before bidding.

• Proxy Bidding: Many buyers use agents to bid on their behalf.

• Notification: Winning bids are confirmed via email, phone, or fax

Post-Auction Process

• Auction Sheet: Provided with every car, detailing its condition and history.

• Inspection: Cars are inspected according to strict Japanese standards.

• Shipping: Once payment is made, the car is shipped to the buyer’s port.
